Mixtape Digital, LLC ("Mixtape," "we," "us") runs mixtapedigital.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, work email, company and the message you send. When you pitch a guest for The Marketing B-Sides podcast, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, email and the guest you are suggesting.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics tools that collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on IP address. We use Google Analytics for this.
Cookies and similar technologies. Our site uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences, measure how the site is used and, now or in the future, show you relevant ads on other websites and platforms (often called remarketing). Some of these are set by third parties such as analytics and advertising partners. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work if you do.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information for money. If we run advertising that uses cookies or similar technologies, some privacy laws may treat that as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described under Your choices and rights.
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host (Webflow), analytics provider (Google), email provider and advertising partners such as LinkedIn or Meta, if we run ads. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
We keep contact and pitch information for as long as it is useful for our business, including staying in touch with past clients and contacts, unless you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings (currently 14 months).
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK GDPR. We will respond within the time those laws require, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.
To limit analytics and advertising cookies, you can adjust your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or manage ad preferences in your Google, LinkedIn or Meta account settings. Where required by law, we will honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of targeted advertising.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Our site links to other websites, such as podcast platforms and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
